A Short Saturday Prayer
God, thank you for Saturday. My heart’s desire is to find rest and renewal in You. Fill my heart with thankfulness for all you are, all you have done, and all you have given.
A Saturday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
On this Saturday, I come before You with gratitude for Your Word, which promises rest and refreshment for our souls. I cling to the truth of Matthew 11:28-29, where Jesus says, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take up my yoke and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
In this day that You’ve made (Psalm 118:24), I lay my weariness before You. Your Word reminds me in Psalm 62:1, “I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.”
Lord, I bring my hopes, fears, and need for rest to Your feet. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Saturday Morning Prayer Devotional
As we step into this Saturday, let us take refuge in the promise of rest found in Matthew 11:28-29: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take up my yoke and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
This passage reminds us that, in the midst of life’s demands, we can find true rest in Jesus. As Charles Spurgeon wisely noted, “Rest time is not waste time. It is economy to gather fresh strength.”
Consider this for your day: Embrace the rest God offers, both physically and spiritually. Take moments to rejuvenate your soul and find solace in the presence of the One who gives rest.
Saturday Prayer for Children:
Jesus,
Today’s Saturday, and I’m looking forward to a great day. Help me enjoy my time, rest, and feel Your love. Thank You for always being with me. In Your name, amen.
In Saturday’s stillness, I find my rest,
In Jesus’ embrace, I am truly blessed.
With burdens eased, I’m at my best,
In His presence, I’m forever refreshed.
