A Short Friday Prayer
Lord, as I begin Friday I ask that you would help me to finish well this week you have given me. May I work with excellence to honor you and may I rest content in what’s been done.
Friday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
On this Friday, I approach You with gratitude for Your Word, which is a light unto my feet and a lamp unto my path (Psalm 119:105). Today, I embrace the truth of Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.”
In this day that You’ve made (Psalm 118:24), I lay my cares before You. Your Word encourages me in Philippians 4:13, “I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Lord, I bring my hopes, fears, and aspirations to Your feet. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Friday Morning Prayer Devotional
As we step into this Friday, let us take refuge in the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.”
This passage reminds us to trust God wholeheartedly and not lean solely on our own understanding. It’s an invitation to surrender control and let God guide our steps. As Corrie Ten Boom wisely said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
Consider this for your day: With every challenge and decision, put your trust in the Lord’s unwavering wisdom. In the words of Jesus from Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Friday Children’s Prayer
Jesus,
Today’s Friday, and I want to have fun and be brave. Please be with me as I play and explore. Thank You for always being with me. In Your name, amen.
In Friday’s trust, my heart finds peace,
In God’s guidance, all worries cease.
With each step taken, His love’s increase,
Rest in His wisdom, and all will release.
